Alex spent 20 min with me on the phone to troubleshoot the issue before he came in case it was something I could fix on Sunday. It wasn't and he was out first thing on Monday. Its a 30 year old system and he was able to service and repair it for a few hundred. For sure would highly recommend!

My husband and I were in a huge pickle the last few days as our AC wasn't working in the 100 degree weather! Alex and his crew were at our house super early to help us out and save a bunch of money. AMAZING SERVICE!!! Alex called me back like 5 minutes after I sent in an inquiry told him about my problem with my AC told him I’ve already been stood up by to other HVAC companies and he told me that he would come and take a look at my system after hours. He sent me his eta an hour and 30 minutes before and he was even a bit early. The issues with my AC were a bit odd and instead of slapping a bandaid on it he did some hardcore digging did a bunch of research and found the problem (the problem being a builder error) I was bracing myself for a hefty bill but he was beyond fair. I’m happy recommending Red Dirt to anyone. Alex was a pro and my house is livable again!!!! Thank you so much we genuinely appreciate the your work!!! And we will have you guys out every spring for a check up now! (P.S. don’t buy a Salisbury home)
tldr: On time. Professional. Personable. Thorough. The temperature went up fast here in St George this year, reaching the 90s in mid-March! As it warmed up inside, our AC unit kicked on, and I heard it running hard. At some point I noticed that no air was coming from the vents. Odd. I turned the fan to "on," and still had nothing from the vents, so I shut the system off & went looking for help. Reviews of local companies led me to a smaller operation called Red Dirt. They took my call at 6:30 on Friday morning and, at 8:30, they were at my door. The technician's inspection of the system revealed a burned out fan motor, which they swapped out for a new one. How much for rhe motor? Nada - it had five days left under warranty! Next the checked the AC unit itself, and found that a leak had allowed all of the coolant to escape. Red Dirt brazed the container so it would hold pressure again, then loaded it up with coolant. It has been a week now, and we're running great. The temps have cooled a bit, but we know they'll go up again, and we'll be ready!
My grandma had her hip replaced and her furnace went out alex came same night and had her fixed up and heating again . Great customer service I would recommend red dirt to anyone !!
I had just moved into a rental where the gas service had not been on for months. Alex came out within a couple hours of initial contact. He turned the gas on, checked my furnace and water heater and made sure everything was working properly. Alex was very professional, personable and respectful.
These guys replaced my old system last year and it was great up until a couple nights ago. It shut off and didn't start back up. They were quick to respond and came out early the same afternoon. Today they came back with the needed parts and got everything squared away. The service after the sale was even better than their prices which were thousands cheaper than the other quotes for the same exact system. I'm glad that I picked a company that stands behind their work and products!

Cooler went out on one of the hottest days so far on Friday of Memoirial Day weekend. We called Red Dirt and Alex said he would come see what needed to be fixed. I told him I just wanted a brand new AC/Heat unit and by the end of the day I had a new unit installed at a reasonable price and house is cooling already! Thanks to Red Dirt
While catering, a film shoot in Saint George my AC went out during 100 degree weather. They came out quickly, worked around my schedule, and did an excellent job. I was recommended to them by someone else in the film industry, and now I would recommend them to anyone with AC needs.
If you have a HVAC problem Red Dirt Heating and Air is the answer! This is the 3rd time in a few years that Red Dirt Heating and Air have come to our rescue. I called Alex last night and he came this morning. This company is thorough, clean, honest, polite and quickly remedies the problem. We are up and running and so grateful to have this kind of quality available to us.

Red Dirt Heating and Air knocked it outta the park! We arrived home after a long vacation, to find out our house was 88°. It was 10:00 pm when I called Red Dirt, and he set me an appointment the following morning, between 8:00-9:00 am. The service tech arrived at 8:30 am, and diagnosed the ac unit in under 10 minutes!!! By the way, this was on July 4. The service tech was very knowledgable, friendly and very efficient! I highly recommend their services! 5 stars all day long! Thank you Red Dirt Heating and Air!!

This company was a second opinion for me. After being told by both companies, that the part I need is on a 30 day back order (so no heat for the whole month of January) Alex, kept looking. Arrived right at the time promised, diagnosed the issue while explaining what was being done to test the problem. Replaced the bad part and HVAC unit back in 100% operation. Repair cost was within the range estimated on internet for particular part I’ll use the company again if needed in the future!

The AC went out in our upstairs unit, and the temperature quickly hit 90° inside the house. We called a service that we usually use. They diagnosed the issue, gave us a quote, and it just seemed expensive. So we shopped around and everyone else was giving us the same price. Until we called Alex at Red Dirt, heating and air. Long story short, Alex, dropped everything, came out, diagnosed and fix the problem for more then HALF the cost of everyone else’s quote. Taking our business to Alex we literally saved $416.00. I had a tenant that had an emergency for the air conditioner. It was a holiday weekend on a Saturday night and I called Alex and he was there in 20 minutes. Had the parts in his van and had the air conditioner running within an hour. I couldn’t be more thankful. I live in another state and was frantic to get this figured out. He called me every step of the way and made my tenant feel very comfortable. I can’t tell you how thankful I am for him.

Great customer support. I feel like you can call any HVAC company and they will send someone over and 90% of the time they can solve the problem so I won't talk about them fixing the HVAC because I feel like them fixing the HVAC is obvious. Yes they fixed it. What really stands out is they showed up on time. They fixed it quickly and even solved some other problems in my attic that was not related to their job description. They were really nice. They cleaned up after themselves and they were very professional. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone needing HVAC help.
I would highly recommend Red Dirt Heating and Air Conditioning. Our Mom’s Air Conditioning went out in the middle of the night she had just came home from rehab with a broken hip. Alex was so nice and compassionate they were at our home in 30 minutes . They were amazing g! They had to get a part and fixed it. They even offered to change the filter. A/C went out and we woke up to a sauna. I called RDHC first thing in the morning and they showed up within the hour. Alex and his partner quickly identified the problem and had my ac blowing cold air again. They also showed me tips on how I can clean my unit so it can be more efficient. As a new homeowner any advice like that is welcome. Will be calling them for any of my heating and cooling needs!!

I have never worked with someone that has worked harder for less. Red Dirt is an owner operated, small local business. So not having to deal with dispatchers and call the technician directly is a deal breaker for us. We have a rental property and things can get crazy when you have to arrange with tenants as the third party. Not to mention Alex has always explained his processes and reasoning transparently with how he operates and works to get the conclusion. Him and his team are truly top notch, (it’s like working with your neighbor that’s a pro), they are trustworthy, genuine and have competitive prices!! 🙌🏼 One of the best owner operated HVAC companies I’ve been able to work with and in return I’m thankful to know I’m directly helping a young family! ✨ It was a HUGE bonus for us that there were Spanish speakers for my tenants. (It’s hard to understand terms in a second language that you don’t use in daily conversation.) Thank you, thank you again for helping guide us to a diagnoses for our rental property. Alex and Giovanni were very professional. They explained what the air conditioning issue was they fixed it and made sure the leaking had stopped. They even offered to sweep up which rarely happens when I’ve had other service calls. These two gentlemen are a great representation of Red Dirt Heating and Air. We won’t hesitate to use them again.
I had an issue with poor air pressure coming from the vents. Alex and his partner discovered part of the duct system under my house had come apart and they reattached it. They have also previously fixed other components of my HVAC system. Alex goes above and beyond to assist in the maintenance of my HVAC. He is very professional, courteous, honest and knowledgeable about the system. They were very punctual and dependable and completed the job in a timely manner. Our AC unit broke down on the 4th of July after we got home from swimming . It was 84 degrees in our home & we still had to shower & do fireworks. Our A/C stopped working when it was 107° outside. It was Friday night after hours, and they picked up the phone immediately.
